Thailand was in full attendance at the 2025 Sea Otter Classic and we could not be more excited! My wife Hannah and I have spent a lot of time in Thailand and consider it our second home. So when we found out NICH Cycling would be branching into the US market with Jon Peters helping lead the way, we felt like we had to help spread the message for our Thai family! https://www.nichcycling.com

The founder of NICH, Chinatip Boonchokhirunmetha, or “Chin” for short, has pioneered the NICH brand in their home country of Thailand. Show up to any group ride on the weekend in Chiang Mai and you will most likely see the NICH bikes overpowering almost any other brand! The brand name NICH is a play on Chin’s name, a testament to the small business owner family approach of the brand.

The bikes themselves look amazing and their lineup is growing fast. On display our favorite bike was most likely the “Songkran” edition Legend, paying tribute to the famous Thai water holiday. In addition to this they also had their carbon gravel bike prototype on display, as well as their mountain hardtail and a few other models! Seeing friends of the brand stop by also showed us how fast they are starting to grow which makes us very happy!

Also on display was Ryant Barnett of Ti Arrow, a high performance wheelchair and hand cycle company that also specializes in titanium frame building! His custom titanium handcycle looked amazing and hearing his stories of him taking it up and down the infamous Doi Suthep was awesome! He also had a custom XS sized titanium hardtail for his wife as well as a titanium kids push bike! Ryan is doing some amazing things! https://tiarrowusa.com

We also had the man, myth, and legend himself, Bike of Vee Tires! Bike is the owner of one of the largest tire manufacturers in the world, Vee Tire! They make tires for a lot of the bike industry in addition to their own brand! Plus they also own the rubber tree farm in addition to the factory, all located in Thailand! What an amazing story! https://veetireco.com

It is awesome to see Thailand crushing it in the bike world! Kapunkap!
