Yeti Cycles has been very busy the last few years quietly developing what has quickly become my favorite suspension design, SixFinity. They first showcased it on their e-bike line, cleverly allowing us to think that SixFinity was an e-bike version of SwitchFinity, their classic suspension platform. However after spending time on the LTe and MTe and realizing how much I loved that suspension platform, I had a feeling it wouldn't stop there. Fast forward to today and that hunch was correct, introducing the new Yeti LT!

With 170mm of travel up front, 160mm of travel in the rear, a SixFinity suspension platform and a radical race inspired geo, the new Yeti LT has one goal in mind. To be the fastest enduro race bike on the market! However, I think Yeti has done more than just create a fast enduro bike with the Yeti LT. In fact I believe SixFinity might be the perfect suspension platform in all types of scenarios!

My time on SixFinity has showed it is very efficient pedaling tightening up when you are on the pedals making your way up the mountain, however it opens up on tech climbs where you want a bit of traction to keep the bike planted. Turn it around downhill and you have an amazing combo of classic "let's go fast" composure and "its okay to take the tech line" plushness and traction. The travel is so controlled and feels optimized for both high and slow speeds, working great on both tech and flow trails. As corny as it sounds, it truly feels like the perfect suspension platform!

Looking at the frame of the Yeti Cycles LT, the lines are beautiful! Yeti has strayed away from a budget carbon frame offering with the LT, instead focusing on its Turq high end line. With a two tone paint job on both color offerings, it is hard to take your eyes off of the new LT.

Build wise, the Yeti LT is cleary ready to rip out of the box. My XO test bike came with 2027 Fox suspension, XO Sram Transmission, Schwalble Radial Tires, Yeti's own carbon high rise bars and a great selection of finishing touches for a build.

I am still not fully sold on Radial tires but riders who enjoy them will be stoked!

One of the many adjustments on the Yeti LT is the chain stay length. Now while most bikes do this via and inteegrated chip, Yeti has gone a different route by using different rear brake mounts giving you + or - 10mm of adjustments. While in the long mode, my size XL test bike saw a massive 475mm rear center which is insane stability wise. The nice thing is the overall handling of the bike was still very responsive as the reach feels perfect!

The LT does feature a slighlty lower slack height over some other long travel offerings, something to keep in mind when choosing your bar rise or spacer setup under the stem.

The Yeti LT also features 3 different shock progresion modes, allowing riders to dial in their riding setup in addition to a mix wheel adjustment chip and the rear center length adjustments. It is very clear Yeti is intending for the LT to be perfect for any conditions you are racing or riding in!

Overall my time on the Yeti LT has been insane so far! Amazing at both slow and high speeds, SixFinity has the ability to excel at both awkward desert chunk and aggresive bike park laps. The geo of the LT tames the speeds your able to acheive on it perfectly and you can rest assured knowing there is an adjustment for any type of terrain you encounter on the LT! Yeti Cycles has knocked this one out of the park and I look forward to many more miles to come on it!
